Our well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, and Biology labs provide students with myriad opportunities to apply the 5Es of enquiry-driven learning—Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate—to develop analytical thinking skills such as hypothesizing, problem-solving, and inferencing. As they work collaboratively and individually, students develop scientific acumen and cultivate attitudes of curiosity, risk-taking, objectivity, precision, perseverance, and responsibility.

As they work collaboratively and individually, students develop digital competence and cultivate attitudes of curiosity, innovation, precision, perseverance, and responsibility.
Games and sports form an integral part of the curriculum. Evening hours of games are compulsory for all resident students and optional for day scholars. The school has an athletic track.
Our library houses a collection of more than 15,000 books, comprising subject books, dictionaries, periodicals, reference books, fiction, non-fiction, and curriculum-based topics. Our library endeavours to provide students with opportunities to learn how to utilize reading materials in a variety of formats and to access information and a wide range of e-books using iPads. Students enhance their reading skills every day through the effective use of the DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) period.
Students’ participation in school management is encouraged, and they are trained to shoulder the responsibility of holding different offices. “Activity Clubs” and the “House System” enable them to assimilate knowledge of management techniques. On the occasion of various functions in the school, students are actively involved in the management of events.

There are teacher-in-charges, called House Masters, assisted by other teachers to guide and lead students. A competent system has been developed in such a way that the selected House Captains and Vice Captains from among the students take on the responsibility of organizing various house and school functions. In other words, students are actively involved in the smooth management of events.
Our aim is to train each individual child to address an audience as well as to cultivate leadership qualities in them. Inter-house and inter-school participation ensures optimum exposure and helps students develop self-expression and confidence.
The GIPS indoor school auditorium is something we surely hold with pride. The recently constructed and renovated indoor auditorium is furnished with modern audio-visual equipment. With a seating capacity of 1,500 at a time, the GIPS auditorium hosts numerous events, including award functions and inter-school competitions, which provide students with a variety of opportunities to showcase their talents and groom their inborn virtues.
Play is a natural activity for every young child. It provides numerous opportunities for children to grow and learn physically, mentally, and socially. If play is a child’s work, then toys are the child’s tools. They are an important learning resource, helping children learn about themselves and the world around them. Toys aim to enhance learning across all developmental areas, providing children with opportunities to investigate, explore, and discover. Through play, children can learn about size, shapes, colours, numbers, letters of the alphabet, and much more.
At GIPS, we have the Little Kingdom, equipped with a variety of toys and educational games.
